Swoon-Worthy Saturday: Justin Chambers

Okay, so you already know my obsession with The Vampire Diaries. But there is another TV show that I watch religiously--Grey's Anatomy.

Seriously, I'm hopelessly addicted. I've watched the entire series through twice. I've already done one SWS from Grey's, and here's another!

Justin Chambers plays Dr. Alex Karev, the hunky bad-boy of the show. In reality, Chambers is a family man--he's happily married and got five kids. FIVE!!!

Let's all take a collective sigh...

Music Monday

Hey guys! It's been a while since I've done Music Monday, but I've got some good ones for today!

1. Boyfriend by Justin Bieber
Okay, I know he's got haters, and I pretend to be am one of the at times, but this song is SO undeniably good that I just can't deny myself any longer...just...gahh...

2. Arrival of the Birds by Cinematic Orchestra
This one is way different from Boyfriend, but it's equally as amazing. You may have heard this in the Acqua di Gioia commercials, so don't be surprised if it sounds familiar. But even if it doesn't, you'll still love it.

3. Domino by Jessie J
I am a HUGE Jessie J fan, and this is one of my favorite songs by her--he voice is so strong, and the song itself is simply amazing. Enjoy!

Review: Clarisonic Mia 2

Alright guys...I got a Clarisonic!

It was totally spur-of-the-moment, but I'm so glad that I got it! I've only used it a few times, and already my skin feels smoother and cleaner. Makeup and moisturizer absorbs more quickly, and my skin is vibrant! So it definitely gets my seal of approval.

There are a couple different types of Clarisonics out there, and I got the mia2-- it's little, like the mia, but its more powerful. It's got timed one-minute sessions that tell you when to move to your nose/chin, cheeks, and forehead. It's fun, easy, and it feels great. I recommend!

Swoon-Worthy Saturday: Alex Pettyfer

This hot brit is not only an actor, but also a Burberry model! Not surprising, right?

Swoon-Worthy Saturday: Hugh Jackman

He's a great actor. He's a great singer.  He's funny. He's a nice guy. He's extremely attractive.

And he's Australian.

Chill Out!

Hey, guys!

We've all felt like this before:

...it's not a great feeling, is it?

That's why today's post is about relaxing. Not in the way that we usually think of relaxing, mind you, but relaxing our spirits.

I know, I sound crazy. But about a year and a half ago, I discovered meditation. I'm not an expert at it, and I don't meditate for hours on end every day, but it really has made a difference in my outlook on life. Being able to calm yourself down in stressful situations is a skill that everyone should strive to have, because it honestly makes you feel so much more in control of your life and your actions.

My favorite way to meditate is to use guided meditations. Stin makes great podcasts that you can get for free off of iTunes--I love the one for obsessive thinking. They are called "Meditation Station", and I highly recommend them. Turn off the lights in a quiet place, light a candle, lay down, and press play. You will learn how your breathing can affect your physical, mental, and spiritual awareness. Meditation is truly amazing!

Try it out, and let me know your thoughts!

Review: Revlon Colorstay Gel Creme Eyeliner

Hey guys! I have always preferred liquid/gel eyeliner to the normal kohl kind, but I had only used higher-end brands before. The other day at CVS, I decided to try out a drugstore brand, and I have to say, I'm impressed! It lasted throughout the day (which is why I like liquid liner), and the consistency was good. It wasn't as soft as my Perscriptives gel eyeliner, but for $10, I think it's pretty darn good.

Here are some pictures from this morning, when I first put it on:

And here are some picture from 10 hours later:

(I know, I have crazy eyes in the last picture...)

Bottom line: a good product! The container comes with a brush, but I used my own angled Sephora brush. I recommend it!

See this post for the angled brush and Perscriptives eyeliner review.
